Dr. Brian Blanchard was raised in Waldo County on a dairy, standardbred and draft horse farm receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. In June 2021 Dr. Blanchard returned to Maine after an 18 month adventure serving equine, dairy, beef and backyard farms on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland, Canada to open The Maine Farm Vet practice.
